Encounter of word Ríosucio Caldas
The "Encounter of the
word" born in the year 1983, as an initiative to give breath to the
vocation innate cultural between the riosuceños and from birth we set align
within the tenets of culture as a representation of the environment, habits,
customs and thoughts of a society that constitute possible change of mind and
social equity.
They have the power to serve, to
incite, to children and youth. In the first, they have offered scenaries for
children's expressions. Its the second,
has been rescued from his limitations and the siege of vices that surround.
It's very positive. Upon receiving the teachings that there are shared,
transformed, and these stimuli induces them to take interest in the different
aspects of art.
The Meeting of the Word is based on defense, stimulus, rescue and
dissemination of local, regional and national cultural tributaries. This is
part of a development process that strengthens the relationship between
education, culture and identity, which has ended collective voice for our
people.
This project as evidenced by his
first 28 versions, not only has drawn on local, but from the experiences and
knowledge of the region in which you are enrolled and the other parts of the
country, which also have their cultural and historical memory and including
contributions from international guests.
As we proclaimed humanist is a
demonstration of loyalty to country. Cultural expressions in the population,
ranging from music, storytelling, dance, oral tradition, poetry, press,
theater, visual arts and crafts, which have given Meetings transcendence.
The possibility to present their
findings and achievements against friends and strangers, with workshops of
various kinds, primarily targeted at children and adolescents, dedicated to
arts and crafts, have allowed us to share, analyze and propose experiences,
skills and knowledge.
These meetings have been another way
to sit down and talk about our past, enrich the contemporary, discuss and agree
on future prospects, which ultimately is the present.
The importance of this event is that
the community is a protagonist and witness of their own destiny and historical
memory, as indicated by the thinker Otto Morales Benítez a “riosuceño” that
besides wanting their homeland, tells crowds of pages in their books that exalt
and recognized nationally.
Another major project pursuits is as
well described by the same Dr. Morales Benítez "... looking back to the
past to appreciate with no static sense, but to point out paths to the future.
It is therefore the role of micro and regional research, an essential part to
establish the fate of the nation's history ... "
The meeting noted too many outcomes
as the "Generation of Identity" as a change of position on the way
they look Caldas problems and how to discuss them, without getting into
confrontation with other styles, generations and ways of thinking. In addition
to these purposes, the conference has promoted a series of reflections and need
to study some issues that have been initiated in Colombia.
Also, from the Meeting of the Word
began to make a series of events in the country, then those who has been
invited to the meeting, which moves us and tells us that we have gone through
the proper routes of promoting culture and education.
With the completion of the Meetings
of the Word, has increased intellectual and artistic lacreación our people and
their collaboration to the aggrandizement of Colombia: poetry, novels, their
teachers, their folklore, their music, their speakers, their legal writers, its
journalists, the arts. Like their crafts, their different ethnic expressions,
their participation in the preparation of traditional foods in general
folklore.
There is another important fact. The
riosuceños have much pride in our Carnival. The "Encounter, the Word," have helped too many educated people
who and appreciates. Who achieves understand it the symbolism of our Devil and participation of poetry, music and the
performance of the dancers
"Encounters "nationalized and
internationalized the importance of this event in our popular culture more
endearing. Before the festive was appreciated, but the meetings of the Word
have succeeded in reaching their study by academics. has achieved such effects,
which in the National University was aimed at studying, with an
interdisciplinary team of teacherstr to
indicate the scope of our Carnival. That's just one of the consequences, one of
the most important.
If we examine the effect of the young

the emergence of new names in the nuances of culture. This is a revolution in
our local world.
The late writer Rafael Humberto
Moreno-Duran, who is an assistant to the
meeting twice, in one of his writings he said:
"Rarely the province assumes the
highest privileges of the capital. Traditionally ignored, besieged by ancestral

The Colombian national scholars are
well aware of our country, is an aggregate of regional entities. Only since the
mid 1950s has been forming a spectrum broader identity, driven by the full
arrival of modernity, by breaking geographical barriers for the advancement of
literacy and universities. Therefore, our lifeblood has always been in the
province. In this source daily calmed our ontological thirst, our most intimate
inquiries about the origins and destiny of our country.
The Department of Caldas in general,
and particularly the city of Ríosucio have been regional champions of the
cause. Growing “comarcanos” values, the exaltation of men of worth and their
collective events have been important goals of its leaders. "
Consequently, the meetings of the
Word are a gigantic effort to rescue and exaltation straightened the province,
we owe it to a new generation of riosuceños who have always worked in the
meetings and now with new and innovative incentive and maintain the fervor all
